An estimated 91% of all the world’s plastic is not recycled, most going into landfill or the oceans. The images in this series physically embody the beauty of natural objects, suspended in blocks of ice. Those ice blocks are moulded by discarded plastic food containers, which are then discarded themselves. Broken flowers reflect the transience of wabi-sabi, embraced by waste plastic that will last, sadly, hundreds of years.
